The Jura E6 in Piano Black, article 15622, is the simpler automatic machine in this set. Jura lists 11 specialties, a 2.8-inch color display, and the Professional Aroma Grinder. The official page lists a 64 ounce water tank, 120 volts, and the identity of article 15622. That shorter drink list, next to the E8 and the Z10, is why it is Best Budget. The role is the feature set, not a discount.
The packshot served on the US page for this Piano Black article shows a machine labeled E6. The file path also names a European article, and the screen text in the photo is German. Do not describe the US machine’s menu language from that screen. The US article is 15622. The display language is a setting and a region, not a sentence you copy off a German panel in a product photo. If the machine that arrives is not Piano Black, or the article number is not 15622, it is not this unit.
Eleven specialties is a real automatic coffee maker and it is not the longer list on the E8. Read the current Jura list for 15622 rather than a review of a different year’s E6. The 64 ounce tank is the size to plan around. It wants water you would drink, a drain for the drip tray, and beans in the hopper, not preground as the everyday plan unless the manual says that door exists. Leave space above the machine for the bean lid and space in front for the cup.
Use the E6 when eleven drinks and a 2.8-inch display are enough and you will not narrate the menu from the photo. Use the E8 when you want the larger display and the longer list on article 15648. Use the Z10 when you want cold-brew specialties and you have accepted the larger tank and the aluminum front.

The Jura E8 in Piano Black, article 15648, is the machine to start with for most people who want a Jura automatic and more drinks than the E6. The Amazon listing says this E8 offers up to 17 specialty options and a 3.5-inch color display with the P.A.G.2 grinder. The official US page for article 15648 lists a 64 ounce water tank and that 3.5-inch display. The larger display and the longer drink list, in the same tank size as the E6, are why it is Best Overall.
This is article 15648, not the later E8 article 15777 that Jura lists with more specialties. Those are different machines that share the E8 name. The packshot is the one served on the US page for Piano Black 15648. The file path also names a European article number. Believe 15648 and Piano Black, not a sibling article. If the box says 15777, the drink count on this page does not apply. Send it back or read that article’s own list. Do not merge them.
The water tank is still 64 ounces. The step up from the E6 is the display and the specialties, not a bigger reservoir. The step up to the Z10 is where the tank and the cold drinks change. Confirm Piano Black. A white E8 is a different look. The grinder name P.A.G.2 is the listing’s description of this article. Use beans the manual allows. A flavored bean can clog a grinder and is a good way to void the fun of a new machine. Leave clearance for the milk system if this article’s list includes milk drinks, and clean that path the way Jura says, because milk residue is the thing that makes automatics taste old.
Use the 15648 E8 when you want the middle Jura and you have checked the article number. It is the wrong machine if you needed cold brew. That is the Z10.
Jura Z10
Best Premium

The Jura Z10 in Aluminum Black, article 15702, is the premium machine. Jura’s comparison column for this article lists cold-brew specialties, an 81 ounce water tank, and an aluminum front. The Amazon model field 15702 matches that Aluminum Black column. The packshot is the one served on the US page for this article. The machine is labeled Z10. Award badges in the photo are graphic overlays, not extra products in the box and not part of the machine. Do not use a renewed white Z10 listing in place of this black aluminum article.
Cold brew on an automatic is the reason to choose the Z10 over the E6 and the E8. If you will never use those drinks, you are buying a larger tank and an aluminum front for a job the E8 already does. The 81 ounce tank is larger than the 64 ounce tanks on the other two. That is more water and a larger body. Measure the counter height and depth. An aluminum front is a finish. It shows spots differently from Piano Black. Wipe it with what Jura allows, not with a scratch pad.
The photo’s award logos are not a trophy you can take off the machine. Ignore them when you count the carton. Count the article number. 15702 is Aluminum Black. A white renewed unit is a different offer. Water, beans, and the cleaning tablets the manual names are the ongoing cost. This page does not price them. It tells you they exist. A Z10 with an empty cleaner routine will taste worse than an E6 that is cleaned. The machine is not the maintenance.
Use the Z10 when cold-brew specialties and the larger tank are the point and the article is 15702. Use the E8 15648 when hot drinks and a 3.5-inch display are enough. Use the E6 15622 when eleven specialties and the smaller display are the machine you will actually run.
Jura Coffee Machine Black Friday Deals 2026: Article Number, Tank, and a Screen You Should Not Translate
Black Friday pastes the word Jura on three different automatics. Write the article number. The E6 Piano Black 15622 if you want 11 specialties, a 2.8-inch display, a 64 ounce tank, and you will not read the German words on the packshot as the US menu. The E8 Piano Black 15648 if you want the listing’s longer specialty list and a 3.5-inch display, still with a 64 ounce tank, and you will not confuse it with article 15777. The Z10 Aluminum Black 15702 if you want cold-brew specialties and an 81 ounce tank, and you will ignore award badges in the photo and skip the renewed white listing.
The screen language caution is narrow and important. The E6 image shows German labels. That does not describe the US machine. Set the language on the machine you receive. Do not write a review of a menu you only saw in a render. The same restraint applies to European article numbers that appear in an image file path. The US articles are 15622, 15648, and 15702.
Water and milk are the second decision. All three want a water tank filled with water you would drink, emptied and cleaned on the schedule in the manual. The Z10 holds more. The E6 and E8 hold 64 ounces. Milk drinks need the milk path cleaned. If nobody in the house will do that, buy the machine for black coffee and do not set up the milk tube. A dirty milk system is the most common way an expensive automatic gets blamed for tasting sour.
Beans, clearance, and the first week are the third decision. Use beans the manual allows. Leave room to open the lids and to remove the brew group if this article’s service steps require it. Run the first rinse cycle before you judge the coffee. The first cup after a new machine often includes setup water. Taste the second cup. If the article number on the box is wrong, do not taste your way into keeping it. The drink lists do not transfer across article numbers.
There is no score and no price on this page. The live listing is the offer. The article number is the decision. Choose the E6 for the shorter list, the E8 15648 for the middle machine, and the Z10 15702 for cold brew and the larger tank. Then match the carton to Piano Black or Aluminum Black as specified, and leave the German screen out of the description.
Filters and cleaning tablets are part of owning the machine, not a surprise. Read which filter this article uses before you buy a generic one because the shape looked close. A drip tray that is left full will overflow at the worst time. Empty it. A bean hopper left open will stale the coffee and make you think the grinder failed. Close it. The E6, the E8, and the Z10 are three article numbers with three jobs. Pick the job, confirm the number on the box, and make the second cup before you decide the first one was the machine’s fault. The photo is a packshot. The menu you will live with is the one on the machine after you set the language, not the one printed in a file that took a detour through another country.
Water hardness and the first month of cleaning decide whether these machines still taste right in January. If your water is hard, use the filter the article number calls for, or the descaling cadence the manual gives you. Skipping it is how a Z10 and an E6 fail in the same way. The larger tank on the 15702 does not excuse a longer wait. Empty the drip tray every day you use the machine. Rinse the milk path the same day you use milk. A Piano Black panel hides stains less than people hope, and the aluminum front on the Z10 shows spots more. Wipe what the manual allows.
Confirm the article number one more time when the machine is on the counter and before you throw out the foam. 15622, 15648, or 15702. If a later E8 article arrived, the longer specialty list some people quote for 15777 is a different product and these notes do not cover it. If a white renewed Z10 arrived, it is not Aluminum Black 15702. The German words on the E6 packshot are still not your menu. Set the language, pull the second cup, and stop comparing article numbers you do not own. One automatic on the counter is the purchase. The other two article numbers can wait until this one has earned a complaint that is actually about the drinks, not about the picture. Give the machine a week of the beans you already buy. Change nothing else. If the coffee is bitter, try a slightly coarser grind only if this article’s controls allow it, and change one setting at a time. If the coffee is sour, look at the cleaning path before you look at a different model. The E6, the E8 15648, and the Z10 15702 can all make a bad cup from a dirty brew group. They cannot make a good cup from the wrong article number. Read the number, set the language, and drink the second cup. That is the whole test. Leave a small note on the inside of the cabinet door with the article number and the filter type, because in six months you will not remember which E8 you own. 15648 is not 15777. 15702 is not a white renewed machine. 15622 is not a German menu. The note is for you. The coffee is for the morning after the shopping is finished. If the second week is still pleasant, stop looking at the other two machines. You already bought the one the article number describes. Drink it this week, and leave the other article numbers on the shelf until this machine has had a fair month.
