The GreenPan Valencia Pro in this set is the gray 11-piece ceramic nonstick set, the same SKU family as CC000675-001. GreenPan’s official list is 8, 9.5, and 11 inch fry pans, 1.5 and 3 quart saucepans with lids, a 3 quart saute pan with lid, and a 5 quart stockpot with lid. The coating is Thermolon ceramic on hard-anodized aluminum. Pans are oven safe to 600 F. Lids stop at 425 F. Easier release than bare stainless is why it is Best Budget next to a stainless All-Clad set. The role is the coated, easier weeknight cook, not a discount.
Amazon feature text also mentions a grill pan and 2 quart saucepans. The official page and the photo do not show a grill pan. This page does not claim a grill pan, and it does not claim 2 quart saucepans. Use the official piece list. A Food Network badge on the photo is a graphic overlay, not an extra pan. Count eleven pieces against that list when the box arrives. Gray is the color. A different color is a different set even if the count looks familiar.
Ceramic nonstick wants medium heat and soft tools. It is the set you choose when eggs and a Tuesday saute matter more than a ripping sear. It is the wrong set when you want bare stainless you can scour. Do not put the lids under a broiler. The 425 F lid limit is lower than the pan limit. Hand wash if you want the coating to last, even when a listing is casual about the dishwasher. The coating is a surface.
Caraway Cookware Set
Best Overall

The Caraway cookware set in cream is the 12-piece ceramic set: a 10.5 inch fry pan, a 3 quart saucepan, a 4.5 quart saute pan, a 6.5 quart Dutch oven, lids, four magnetic racks, and a canvas lid holder. The listing says the ceramic coating is made without PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, lead, and cadmium, and that the pieces are oven safe to 550 F. The set-plus-storage idea, between a larger GreenPan piece count and bare All-Clad, is why it is Best Overall for someone who wants coated pans and a place to hang them.
The official photo shows four cream pieces. The racks and the lid holder are not in that frame. Do not describe the photo as the full 12-piece contents. The list is the contents. Count the racks and the holder separately when you unpack. A missing rack is a missing piece even though the hero picture never showed it. Cream is the color. It shows stains. It is not the gray GreenPan and it is not stainless.
Oven safe to 550 F is this set’s ceiling, not the All-Clad’s 600 F and not the GreenPan lid rule. Read the limit on the piece you are using. Soft tools again. The coating claims are the listing’s claims. If you need a certificate, ask for it rather than treating the photo as a lab. Hang the pans if you bought the set for the racks. A rack that stays in the box is not a feature you own yet.
Use Caraway when you want the cream coated set and you will count twelve pieces. Use the Valencia Pro when you want the gray official eleven and no grill pan. Use All-Clad when you want stainless and you will hand wash it.
All-Clad D3
Best Premium

The All-Clad D3 here is the 10-piece tri-ply stainless set, model 401488LR. It includes 8 and 10 inch fry pans, 2 and 3 quart saucepans with lids, a 3 quart saute with lid, and an 8 quart stockpot with lid. Tri-ply stainless, oven and broiler safe to 600 F, and induction compatible. That bare-metal performance is why it is Best Premium. It will not release an egg the way the ceramic sets do. It will sear, and it will go on an induction burner if the burner is induction.
Official care is hand wash only. A marketplace special-features line that says dishwasher safe is not the official instruction. Do not put this set in the dishwasher. Dishwasher heat and detergent are how stainless sets pick up spots and how some rims suffer, and All-Clad’s own page for this set says hand wash. This article does not claim the set is dishwasher safe. Wash it by hand, dry it, and put it away. A different hero image on the brand’s site shows black nonstick interiors. That image was not used. This photo is the stainless catalog picture: two fry pans, two lidded saucepans, one lidded saute, and one lidded stockpot.
Do not substitute ASIN listings whose contents swap the 3 quart saucepan for a casserole. The piece list above is the one that matches this set. If the box contains a casserole and is missing the 3 quart saucepan, it is a different bundle. Count before you cook. The 8 quart stockpot is large. Measure the cabinet and the burner. A stockpot that does not sit flat on the grate is the wrong pot for that stove, even if the steel is excellent.
Stainless wants fat or liquid and attention. Food sticks when the pan is too cold or crowded, and it releases when the fond lets go. That is a skill, not a defect. The ceramic sets are the ones for people who do not want that skill on a Tuesday. The D3 is the set for people who do, and who will dry it by hand.
Pan Sets Black Friday Deals 2026: Piece List, Coating, and Hand Wash for the D3
Black Friday sells a stack of pans as if the count were the product. Write the list. The gray GreenPan Valencia Pro if you want the official eleven ceramic pieces and you will ignore a grill-pan bullet the photo does not support. The cream Caraway set if you want the coated pans plus racks and a lid holder, counted from the list because the photo crops the racks out. The All-Clad D3 10-piece, model 401488LR, if you want tri-ply stainless to 600 F, induction, and a hand-wash habit. A single skillet is a different page. A grill pan is not hiding in the GreenPan box.
The dishwasher conflict is settled in favor of the maker. All-Clad’s page says hand wash only. A web field that says dishwasher safe is the field to ignore. The GreenPan and the Caraway are coated sets with their own care. Hand washing is the longer life for those coatings too. The D3 is the one where the official instruction is explicit, so this page repeats it: hand wash, then dry. Spots on stainless are water, not a failed pan. A dishwasher cycle is not the fix the official page allows.
Piece count is the arrival test. GreenPan: three fry pans, two saucepans with the sizes GreenPan lists, a saute, a stockpot, and the lids that go with the lidded pieces. No grill pan required for the set to be complete. Caraway: fry pan, saucepan, saute, Dutch oven, lids, four racks, lid holder. All-Clad: 8 and 10 inch fry pans, 2 and 3 quart saucepans with lids, 3 quart saute with lid, 8 quart stockpot with lid. A casserole standing in for the 3 quart saucepan means the wrong bundle. Photograph a short set before you cook in it. Cooking voids the easy return.
Heat and the stove are the other test. All three can go in an oven up to the limit of the piece and the lid. Lids are often the lower number. Induction is called out for the D3. A ceramic-coated aluminum pan may work on induction only if that exact set says so. Do not assume the GreenPan or the Caraway matches the D3’s induction line. Read each listing. A warped memory of “all pans work on induction” is how a glass-top cook ruins a morning.
There is no score and no price on this page. The live listing is the offer. The official piece list and the care line are the decision. Choose the Valencia Pro for coated weeknights without a grill pan. Choose the cream Caraway set for coated pans plus storage you have to count. Choose the D3 when you want stainless and you will hand wash it. Then match the carton to the list, not to a badge on a photo.
The first meal should be the meal you actually cook. Eggs in the GreenPan or the Caraway, with a little fat and a soft tool. A sear in the D3, with the patience stainless asks for, then a hand wash and a dry towel. If you already know you will put every pan in the dishwasher, do not buy the D3 and plan to argue with the instruction. Buy a set whose maker agrees with your sink. If you already know you will scratch a coating with a steel fork, do not buy the ceramic sets and blame them in March. The gray set, the cream set, and the stainless set are three different contracts. Sign the one you will keep, and leave the dishwasher door closed on the All-Clad.
Lids, rivets, and the first warped memory of a “complete” set are the unpacking hour. Spread every piece on the table. Match lids to pans before you nest them, because a lid that almost fits will rock and spill. The GreenPan lids and the All-Clad lids are not a shared pool. The Caraway racks want the Caraway pans. A magnet rack on a stainless D3 may or may not be what you want. Do not assume the Caraway holder fits the All-Clad stockpot. You bought one set, not a mix.
Seasoning is the wrong word for all three. The D3 is stainless. It does not take a seasoning layer the way carbon steel does. The ceramic sets are already coated. Oil them lightly when you cook. Do not bake them empty to “set” a coating. Empty heat is how coatings die and how a stainless pan discolors for no benefit. Preheat with food or with a short head start and some fat, the way the manual for that set prefers.
If a gift receipt is in the box, leave the pieces nested only until the cook counts them. Tell that person the D3 is hand wash only, in the same sentence as the gift. A surprise stainless set that goes into the dishwasher on night one is the conflict this page exists to prevent. Tell them the GreenPan does not owe them a grill pan. Tell them the cream photo hid the racks, so the racks should still be in the carton. Then cook one meal in the set you meant to own, dry the stainless by hand, and stop shopping for a fourth pan until this set has a missing job you can name. A missing job is a real reason. A badge on a photo is not. Dry the D3 until the rims are not wet, including the lids, and hang or stack the coated pans with a cloth between them. The gray set, the cream set, and the stainless set can share a kitchen only if you remember which one is allowed in the dishwasher. On this page, the All-Clad is not. Hand wash it, every time, and the official instruction stays intact. A stainless rim left wet will spot by morning, and that spot is water, not a reason to reopen the dishwasher debate. Dry it. Put it away. Cook again tomorrow in the same pan, so you learn its heat instead of buying a second set to solve a skill you have not practiced yet on an ordinary weeknight with the towel still in your hand.
